Meat consumption improves the health of the old people

08, OCT, 2015

From Deakin University, one of the researchers, Robin Daly, says that eating 3-4 servings of red meat a week with exercise sessions "could be the key to keeping our body and mind in peak condition”. Daly added that consumption of this type of protein also stimulates the growth hormone IGF-1 serum that helps the growth and function of brain cells.

The study will continue to be expanded to determine how it influences the increase of protein in the meat along with exercise on mental health and well-being of the old people.
