How to eat white meat in a healthy diet

The best thing to do in the diet is to eat white meat alternately with red meat, and to eat it two or three times a week in portions that do not exceed 350 grams per day and within the framework of a healthy diet, together with various fruits and vegetables, water and other quality foods.

White meat can be found in poultry such as chicken and turkey, or other less common meat such as pheasant or duck, which are often included in the red meat group. Also, rabbits are usually included in this category even though they are not birds.

We also recommend cooking it at moderate temperature using methods such as stewing, sautéing, grilling, but without burning, poaching, boiling or steaming and always choose lean options such as breasts, removing visible fat before cooking.
